The problem with netflix.
I can only assume the crappy films put on Netflix as “instant play” are receiving some sort of monetary compensation for allowing their films to be presented in an “impulse-watch” situation. Possibly because they are so incredibly unpopular that they could never compensate losses in DVD sales.
What would be better business is for the genuinely amazing films to be placed on “instant play” because they are so good that people will purchase them at a store after a single “instant” viewing, therefore making a greater profit off of DVD sales.
Does this compute? $$$$$?
